I have been a resident of Wisconsin's Northwoods since 1982. I and my family landed in Rhinelander after joining Frito-Lay (as in snacks) as a project scientist based out of the Frito-Lay potato research farm and labs located just to the east of Rhinelander. Prior to joining Frito-Lay I earned a Ph.D. in Plant and Soil Sciences from the University of Maine at Orono, an M.S. in Agronomy from the University of Delaware in Newark, and a B.A. from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa.

I'm married to Barb Sass Yoder my partner in this business and all around best friend. Barb and I call River Bend Farm home and what a home it is. Resting on the banks of the Wisconsin River in McNaughton there’s no better place to regroup and relax after a long day.

Between us we have six children and five grandchildren, special all. Barb’s children reside in the Cities and my children are scattered around central Wisconsin, so we are blessed that they are all within easy striking distance.

While the corporate career had its rewards, a real estate practice is truly entrepreneurial and therefore exciting. Accountability for success or failure is personal and undeniable. The platform for operations is a mosaic of personal relationships. I truly enjoy the people, the business, and opening doors to people’s dreams.

Barb moved to Northern Wisconsin from the Twin Cities in 1982. After completing her Associate Degree in Marketing at Nicolet College, she spent the next 7 years as the Public Relations and Marketing Director at Petersen Health Care in Rhinelander. Always feeling the urge to start her own business, Barb took the required courses to obtain her real estate sales license, then went on to get her brokers license as well. She began her career with Rhinelander Realty and earned the title of "Rookie of the Year" her first year. After seven years at that firm, Barb joined Coldwell Banker Mulleady and has been with them since 1998. Barb enjoys the interaction with clients and customers and making the process of homebuying and selling a smooth transition with a professional and personal touch. Barb consistently is a multi-million dollar producer and has received many sales awards during her career.

In her spare time, Barb loves to sail, loves to make beautiful quilts and enjoys her time on the Wisconsin River, entertaining family, friends and kayaking.
